Club Days Out

Saturday 4th May: Day Out

Landscapes - We will visit the Lake Tree at Waitetoko and then the secret lagoon at Kurtau and onto the Waihora Lagoon.

 

Sunday 2nd June: Day Out

We will visit the Huka Falls then the Aratiatia Dam to photograph rapids timed for a dam release, and hopefully find some foggy landscapes.

 

Sunday 7th July: Day Out

Depending on snowfall, we will have a trip along the Desert Road in search of ice and snow landscapes.

 

Monday 5th August: Day Out

We will visit Ruapehu Happy Valley and may be a Gondola ride for some ski slope photography.

 

 

Sunday 22nd September: Day Out

Timed for a river release we will go to access points 13 & 14 and Tree Trunk Gorge exit point to photograph rafters and kayakers in white water.

 

Sunday 6th October: Day Out

Photographing Birds - We will go to the lake front, and a river mouth and look for a Shag colony on the riverbank.

 

Friday 29th November: Day Out

A trip to the Gannet colony at Cape Kidnappers. We will book a private bus making this the big outing for the year.
